Spring Daisy Amigurumi Doll Crochet Pattern

Greetings once again, my fellow artisan. The hook is in hand, and the yarn is ready. Our Daisy Spring Doll is a masterclass in texture and silhouette. The dramatic flare of her wide-leg trousers provides a beautiful anchor for her delicate, rounded features. We will pay special attention to the facial shaping, ensuring those cherubic cheeks sit perfectly beneath the Gaze of Innocence. Let us begin this project.

About This Creation

This project is a celebration of volume and layering. The doll features an exaggerated, youthful 60/40 head-to-body proportion, demanding precise stitch mechanics to support her form. Her trousers require rapid mathematical increases to create that ballooning fabric drape, contrasting sharply with the tailored fit of her black crop top. We finish the piece with an open-mesh cardigan and a floral crown, elevating a simple figure into a complete, artisanal character.

Hair Strands Working from the R15 edge.

➡️ Strands 1-8 (Front Bangs): [ch 12, starting in 2nd ch from hook sc 11 back down the chain. Sl st into the next 2 sts on the cap] x 4.

➡️ Strands 9-24 (Sides and Back): [ch 25, starting in 2nd ch from hook sc 24 back down the chain. Sl st into the next st on the cap] x 16. Fasten off and leave a very long tail for anchoring the hair to the head.

The Lace Cardigan Using White yarn and a 3.0mm hook. Worked flat in rows.

Row 1: Ch 34, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (33). Turn.

Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc + ch 1), skip 1 st, dc in next st. [ch 1, skip 1 st, dc in next st] across (17 dc, 16 ch spaces). Turn.

Rows 3-8: Repeat Row 2, placing the dc stitches directly into the dc of the previous row to create a square mesh grid.

➡️ Sleeves: Attach yarn to the corner of the finished rectangle. Ch 15, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (14). Sl st to the next mesh space to anchor. Work 5 of these wide mesh rows to create a draping sleeve. Repeat on the opposite side.

The Crossbody Bag Using Black yarn.

The Floral Vine Using Forest Green yarn. Ch 40. Fasten off. With White and Yellow yarn, embroider 4 tiny daisies along the chain using French knots.

Assembly

➡️ Position the Hair Base Cap on the head so the bangs sit directly above the eyes. Pin securely. Sew the cap to the head, then tack down the side and back strands so they frame the face.

➡️ Sew the Head to the Body at R42. Add extra stuffing to the neck joint right before closing to prevent wobbling.

➡️ Sew the Arms to the Body on either side of Round 39 (the black top).

➡️ Wrap the Black yarn tightly around the front unworked front loops of Round 33 to define the waistline, tying a small bow at the front.

➡️ Embroider small white and yellow daisies directly onto the black top. Use pink blush or soft pastels beneath the eyes on the chubby part of the cheeks.

➡️ Drape the cardigan over the arms, place the crossbody bag over one shoulder, and tie the floral vine around the hair.
