A warm welcome back to the atelier. Today, we focus our energy on a project that celebrates the soft transitions of spring. Petal is not merely a toy; she is a study in volume and balance. We will work together to ensure her cheeks have that perfect, heavy fullness and her eyes reflect a quiet, innocent wonder. Precision in your stitch counts is the key to maintaining her elegant silhouette. Grab your favorite hook, and let us begin this journey of form and texture.
About This Creation
Petal the Peach Blossom Fawn represents a shift toward more sophisticated amigurumi construction. We avoid simple geometric shapes in favor of anatomical “squish.” By placing increases in specific clusters, we force the fabric to expand where we want puffiness, particularly in the lower face. This technique creates a physical depth that standard patterns often lack.

Assembly
✨ Stuff the head and body firmly, ensuring the cheek area of the head is pushed outward with stuffing.
✨ Sew the head to the body, matching the 18 stitches of the neck.
✨ Attach the legs to the lower sides of the body at Round 5 so she sits naturally.
✨ Position the arms at Round 13, pointing slightly inward.
✨ Sew the ears between Rounds 5 and 9 of the head.
✨ Place the tiny antlers between the ears.
✨ Use pink thread to embroider a small “V” shaped nose exactly between the eyes.
