The Velvet Mushroom Dragon: Professional Amigurumi Pattern

Welcome back to the table, my dear friend. I have spent many hours perfecting the geometry of this companion. We are moving away from the basic sphere and into the world of intentional volume. Velvet yarn presents unique challenges, but its sheen and density provide a finish that standard cotton simply cannot match. Take your time with the increases; they are the skeletal structure of your dragon’s soul. Let us begin this journey of texture and form together.

About This Creation

This Mushroom Dragon is a study in proportions. By utilizing the Baby Schema, we emphasize a large, thoughtful head paired with a compact, heavy-set body. The contrast between the cream-colored scales and the vibrant red cap creates a striking visual balance. Every stitch is calculated to ensure the doll remains soft yet maintains its sculptural integrity.
